RECREATIONAL SERVICES

The Izvoranu Guesthouse offers guests a variety of ways to relax and enjoy their time in a stunning natural setting:

  • Hiking in the forest with a professional guide who specializes in survival techniques and is knowledgeable about the area’s flora and fauna—80 lei per person
  • Painting Workshop - 70 lei per person – painting on glass, canvas, and textiles (T-shirts)
  • Wine Tasting – 80 lei per person + the wine selected for the tasting
  • Campfire - 500 lei
  • Yoga – 60 lei per person per hour – minimum 10 participants
  • Mindfulness/Personal Development – 60 lei per person per hour – minimum 10 participants
  • Off-Road Car Tours – Off-Road Routes – 250 lei/hour/car, with 4 people per car + 4 electric motorcycles
  • Art Therapy – 60 lei per person per hour – minimum of 10 participants
    (An additional fee may apply, depending on the materials used—for example, clay, watercolors, etc. This fee will be determined by mutual agreement.)

CYCLING TOURISM

We offer mountain bikes for rent to our guests. As you ride through the Izvoranu Forest, you’ll discover trails for all skill levels. At every turn, you’ll be captivated by the scenery and atmosphere of the area.

Another attraction for cyclists is Highway 203G, which winds through the forest for 16 km; with almost no car traffic, it’s the perfect destination for a weekend bike ride.

Starting from the Izvoranu Guesthouse, you’ll travel 6 km to Leiculesti and then continue along the forest road to Monteoru.

TRUFFLE HUNTING

A deciduous forest stretching along the same latitude as the Italian region of Piedmont, the Ivoranu Forest invites you to discover the treasure hidden beneath its layer of leaves—on the forest floor or at a depth of 8–10 cm — truffles — the most prized mushrooms that grow in the wild.

Our four-legged experts will help you unearth and gather the earth’s “black diamonds,” guiding you from summer through the end of February on this special journey to discover some extremely rare delicacies.
